How the reels work
Three reels, one centre line and a counter of virtual coins. Here is every part of the machine, a first session from start to finish, and how a result is picked.
The machine, part by part
- 1
Coins and last win
The left counter is your balance of virtual coins. The right one shows what the last spin added. Both are play money only.
- 2
Reels and the centre line
Three reels, each with the same strip of 20 symbols. Only the row between the green markers counts. The rows above and below are just the neighbouring symbols on the strip.
- 3
Lever
Pull it for the arcade feel. It does exactly what SPIN does, nothing more.
- 4
Coins per spin
Choose 10, 50 or 100 virtual coins per spin with the minus and plus keys. Every win scales with it.
- 5
SPIN
Takes your coins per spin from the balance and spins. The reels stop left to right in just over a second.
- 6
Get free coins
Adds 1,000 virtual coins at no cost, then rests for 60 seconds. There is no paid top-up anywhere on this site.
A first session, start to finish
- Install from Google Play. Spinbit Play is a free download for Android phones.
- Confirm you are 18 or older. The game is made for adults, and we ask once.
- Start with a balance of virtual coins. Nothing to pay, no card on file.
- Pick your coins per spin. Lower values make the balance last longer.
- Spin and read the centre line. Three matching symbols win, and so do exactly two cherries.
- Refill or stop. Free coins are there when the counter runs low. So is the close button.
How a spin is decided
When you press SPIN, each reel independently picks one of its 20 positions at random, with every position equally likely. That position lands on the centre line. The machine never looks at the other reels, your balance or your last result.
The strip holds six cherries, five lemons, four bells, three stars and two sevens, so some symbols simply turn up more often:
| Symbol | On the strip | Chance on one reel |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry | 6 of 20 | 30% |
| Lemon | 5 of 20 | 25% |
| Bell | 4 of 20 | 20% |
| Star | 3 of 20 | 15% |
| Seven | 2 of 20 | 10% |
Nothing is placed just above or below the line to make a spin look close. Over many spins the demo returns about 89 coins for every 100 spun, and the full paytable with each line's chance is on the home page.
Play on your own terms
Spinbit Play is entertainment. These habits keep it that way.
Set a session length
Decide on ten or fifteen minutes before you open the app, and stop when it is up, whatever the counter says.
Treat coins as points
A big balance is a high score, not savings. It cannot be cashed out, and losing it costs you nothing.
Ask for help early
If playing stops feeling like fun, or you are worried about gambling elsewhere, take a break and talk to a gambling support service in your country.
